The Premier Program is invitation only and tryouts are required (see Schedule for info on tryouts).

 

The Premier Program introduces your player to higher level competitive soccer (often known as 'select'). Focus is on development of technical skills, team play and reading game situations. The Premier Program requires HIGH commitment from both players and parents including two practices a week, weekend games and attendance at selected tournaments. Premier teams play in select Spring and Fall leagues as well as a winter futsal league.

​We ONLY require a $150 deposit at registration. 

 

We are not a 'Pay to Play' club (i.e. we don't charge you what it costs us and add some profit). Our goal is to make soccer affordable so we only charge a flat fee of $400 per player - which includes Spring and Fall league play (note Premier Program players will not play in our fall recreational league - they will play in a SLYSA league).

 

We only require $150 at registration and then help you, as an individual/team, fundraise through events and scholarships, to cover the difference ($250 each player). Individuals can pay the $400 fee directly and not be required to fundraise - payment plans are available. Please note winter futsal is optional and is an extra $45.

It actually costs Empower Soccer more than $1,200 per player for two seasons of league play and two tournaments per season, which includes: 

• League fees (SLYSA or SCCSYA fall/spring registration)

• Facility for practices and training equipment

• Club admin and coach fees

• Uniforms (home & away) and kit bags

• Tournaments (usually two local per season)

We therefore only charge you a THIRD of the actual cost and work to fundraise to cover the the other two thirds as a club through donations, sponsorships, scholarships and other income such as concessions.
